Ydris, the Fire Dragon

(They/Them) [personal profile] warmtides
Ydris is a deity aligned to Orderly Evil. They oversee the Humans within the Springtide Clan, who were long ago banished to live in the Below Lands. Ydris is not the original Fire Dragon, who was killed in the previous Age. Ardric's few remaining embers were sparked back to life by Springtide Druids, who created Ydris to replace their dead god.

Ives, the First Giant

(He/Him) [personal profile] brokenroots
Ives is the most well known historical figure in all of Myddvai. He was born in the First Age, untold generations before current time. He was once a human who drank directly from the Heart Fountain, becoming the first of the Giants. Giants always reincarnate as their whole, original self and regain all the memories of their past lives in adulthood. Ives has seen the majority of Myddvai's history across his many lifetimes. He is renowned as the most powerful mortal spellcaster. Ives is usually the King of the Sunderroot, but this life he's taking a break.

Ted, the Assistant

(He/Him) [personal profile] secretarial
Ted is Ydris' personal assistant. The fire dragon addresses Ted as "Theodore", even though that is not his name. Seems to be a painfully average human guy. His animal companion is a common grey squirrel. Don't get him started about his wife.

Barnaby, the Chef

(He/Him) [personal profile] barnababy
A peculiar and jumpy elven mage who was rescued from the employ of House Sybil. He apparently made a bad deal with the spider vampire Lady Sybil. Desperate to escape, he begged Saori to smuggle him free. He will be joining the group for the remainder of the journey, as Ives' assistant. Seems he went from being in debt to promising Ives another, but is much happier to be with the Pulled than as Lady Sybil's personal chef.

Arthur, the Light Dragon

(He/Him)
Arthur is the dragon who provides light to the Above World of Myddvai. He is aligned to Chaotic Good. His dragon form is the sun that flies just above the atmosphere, creating the cycle of day and night. Though he does his best, he is not the most reliable of the dragons. Those on Myddvai are remarkably casual about the sun occasionally sleeping in, as it's a fairly regular occurrence. He is Ygrayne's child and cares for her deeply, even if they disagree on matters from time to time. Without him, day does not exist upon Myddvai. Pretty important, right?

Ygrayne, the Land Dragon

(She/Her)
Ygrayne is the dragon who oversees the land and life stream of Myddvai. Her alignment is Orderly Good. She is a stern, yet caring motherly figure. Her son, Arthur, is the actual sun over Myddvai. Ygrayne and Arthur care deeply for one another, while also balancing one another's controlling and irresponsible tendencies. Without Ygrayne, the flow of life and death could be disrupted.

Armis, the Wind Dragon

(He/Him/They/Them)
Armis oversees the wind across Myddvai. He is a peculiar dragon with two bodies, despite being an individual, with his dragon form being a hydra. He is the deity aligned to Chaotic Evil and does sure act the part. By all accounts he is duplicitous and unpredictable, but seems to hold an unspeakable charm few will admit he has. His duty on Myddvai is simple enough; break up routine. This keeps a certain magical force at bay, one that disrupts the correct flow of time.

Ygerna, the Water Dragon

(She/Her)
Ygerna is the dragon who oversees the waterways all across Myddvai. Her attitude is easygoing and fun loving, but also level headed on more serious matters. She is regarded at the True Neutral aligned deity. She won't shirk away from taking a principled stance when the necessity arises. Of all the gods, she spends the most time amongst mortals, living out on the open seas with her crewmates and the mermaids who share her blessing. Without her, not only will the natural water cycle stall, but the world economy risks a similar fate without her oversight.
