Playing whack-a-mole with every cult that pops up is just dealing with the problem from the wrong end, don't you think? It's unfortunately common for some people to be vulnerable and trusting, and common for other people to take advantage of that. Just because sometimes it has a religious angle to it doesn't make it more or less of a problem.
