[they're called the Below Lands, huh? Azhar inclines his head in understanding, and in watching Ives, assumes he has an idea what to expect. He doesn't hesitate at all in lifting the lemon, inhaling the pleasant scent of it before taking his bite.
Mistakes were made.
The sensation of sour only seems enhanced by the salt, and the sound he makes is of utter shock mixed with panic. As it mingles with his saliva, the rahuth's tail whumps into the chair, sort of in protest and sort of just... in reaction. There's too much lemon to poke it around in his mouth or pucker his lips, and so he's forced to just kind of endure it all as he chews. Honestly, he's not sure if what he's feeling is a burning or tingling or straight-up melting sensation, but eventually the bitter rind starts to soothe. That's not before tears prickle in his eyes, but you know, it could be worse?
At least he didn't spit it out. The idea that people eat these things the way they just did is mind-boggling though.]
Haah....
[It's not much of an answer to it all, though he hardly needs to speak when one could so plainly see. Now, it's starting to become a more pleasant aftertaste, but it's also the only thing he can smell.]
Klirvaa, that's... a lot. [He has to clear his throat as he speaks, and it's still the only thing he can perceive. Brisk is... certainly a word for it.]
