[ smokey appears to seriously contemplate this.

it actually makes her uneasy, how hard she thinks on this. after a few long seconds, she sucks it up, very tentatively and slowly reaching a hand towards the one already extended toward her. she swears, if this ends up being something weird, she's never (nonviolently) touching anyone again...!!! ]

[ (okay, that's probably a lie, but it's the principle of it.) ]
